Heinzinger electronic had already equipped FEV’s recently inaugurated and worldwide largest development and test center for high-voltage batteries (eDLP) in Brehna, Germany, with 52 ERS-BIC power supplies and more than 100 test channels.
The battery testers installed at the Brehna site impress with their high dynamics and the ability to be easily configured and combined on individual channel and system level. This high level of flexibility enables FEV to provide the optimal current, voltage and power range for a wide variety of battery test requirements.
For the current battery series, currents of up to 2400A and powers of up to 1MW can be realized in continuous operation, in addition up to 1200V for voltage classes of future battery types.
In addtion to the usual advantages that such cooperation provides, both sides see it as an excellent opportunity to exchange and expand their know-how. For construction and sales of the company’s turnkey test benches, FEV will be utilizing Heinzinger electronic’s power supplies.
